Real-Time Embedded Software Engineering Leader

Job Description

Become a key player as a Real-Time Embedded Software Engineering Leader in Thornhill, Ontario. Drive the development of innovative Wi-Fi solutions while guiding engineering teams.

This role requires you to significantly influence the design and architecture of real-time embedded systems. You will own critical modules and ensure that applications maintain high performance and scalability on the Linux platform. Mentorship and fostering a culture of technical excellence will be at the forefront of your responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design and implementation of embedded software for Wi-Fi

• Evaluate new technologies to enhance product quality

• Undertake comprehensive debugging of embedded systems

• Own complete software lifecycle from design to support

• Mentor engineers and conduct code reviews for quality assurance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science; Master’s preferred

• Extensive experience in real-time embedded systems

• Strong command of embedded Linux and performance enhancement

• Proficiency in C and C++ programming

• Understanding of Wi-Fi protocols and related networking concepts
