Job Description

Become a Senior PostgreSQL System Administrator and leverage your skills in a critical, high-performance environment. This position allows you to lead and mentor while focusing on database security and optimization.

We're looking for seasoned professionals with 5-7 years of experience managing PostgreSQL. Your role will include significant responsibilities such as designing high availability solutions and optimizing database performance. Engage with cross-functional teams to support scalable database architectures effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate installation and administration of PostgreSQL

• Implement High Availability, Disaster Recovery plans

• Monitor database performance and resolve bottlenecks

• Manage updates, patching, and migrations with care

• Develop robust backup and recovery processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related

• 5-7 years DBA experience with PostgreSQL

• Expertise in streaming replication and clustering

• Strong scripting capabilities, especially in Bash or Python

• Experience in cloud PostgreSQL management

Utilize your analytical skills and database knowledge to optimize performance and lead a high-functioning team in PostgreSQL administration.
