Advance the multiplayer gaming landscape as a Senior Multiplayer Programmer with NBCUniversal. Your role centers on architecting powerful network systems for large-scale gameplay experiences.

As part of a full-time team, you'll design, implement, and maintain the foundational network systems essential for real-time multiplayer interactions. Collaborating closely with gameplay and engine teams, your responsibilities include optimizing network performance and mentoring junior talent, enhancing the team's overall expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement real-time multiplayer communication systems

• Work with engine teams to integrate network functionalities

• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues during and post-launch

• Optimize performance for reduced latency and enhanced reliability

• Mentor and guide junior programmers to develop key skills

Requirements:

• Strong background in AAA multiplayer games

• Proficient in C++ programming, especially in performance contexts

• Understanding of networking protocols and multiplayer systems

• Experience debugging, profiling, and optimizing networked gameplay

• History of shipping titles in gaming on PC or consoles
