Spatial Data Coordinator

SUMMARY

The Spatial Data Coordinator is a dedicated resource for the spatial data group, responsible for quality assurance, file management and maintaining client data.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Reviews and prepares “virtual location survey’s” (VLS) for 3rd party completion.

Assembles reports for each VLS.

Ensures quality and consistency across all VLS reports.

Liaises with 3rd party vendors to ensure accurate final product.

Maintains Microsoft SharePoint site for each client.

Uploads all new VLS reports and keep files up to date for all clients.

Works closely with Spatial Data specialist(s) and Capital planning team to ensure timely delivery of reports.

Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

College diploma in a relevant field such as Business Administration or Data Management

Up to 1 year of Administration, Project Coordination or Data Management work experience

Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, an asset

Computer proficiency in MS Office Excel along with an ability to learn software applications quickly

Strong attention to detail

Ability to review data for reasonability and to identify anomalies

Ability to coordinate and monitor workflow to ensure timely completion of activities along with strong organizational skills

Effective verbal communication skills for the purpose of conveying data anomalies, coordinating workflow activities and providing software end user training

This is a regular, full-time position with a salary range of $40,680 - $50,850 per annum. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidate’s competencies, including but not limited to experience, education and performance related to this role.
