Electrical Engineer in Training Stantec BC

Job Description

Embark on your career as an Electrical Engineer in Training at Stantec, based in Vancouver, BC. Engage in impactful design projects while collaborating with experts in the field.

In this junior to intermediate role, you will support the design of various electrical systems, including emergency power and lighting, guided by a licensed professional engineer. The ideal candidate should possess strong skills in CAD and Revit, bringing at least two years of relevant experience to the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and coordinate electrical systems for various projects

• Stay updated with Electrical Engineering practices and codes

• Work directly with engineers for system selection

• Document design decisions and perform quality checks

• Engage in project-related meetings actively

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar

• At least 2 years of related experience

• Familiarity with codes and standards in building engineering

• Strong skills in Revit and CAD software

• Effective in both oral and written communication
