Senior CAD Structural Designer – Bridges

Job Description

Join Egis as a Senior CAD Structural Designer in Edmonton, AB. Collaborate hybridly with teams to deliver detailed bridge design and documentation, using your extensive CAD skills.

We are looking for a Senior CAD Designer who has at least 15 years of CAD drafting experience, particularly with bridges and transportation structures. This role at Egis will have you creating detailed 2D drawings and 3D models while ensuring compliance with standards and effective coordination across teams.

Key Responsibilities: • Create general arrangement and reinforcement detailing drawings • Convert engineering inputs to precise drafting outputs • Uphold drafting quality standards and procedures • Manage document versions and revisions for project accuracy • Coordinate with teams on BIM documentation integration

Requirements: • Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or relevant field • 15+ years of CAD design experience • Solid experience in bridge projects • Proficient in AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Revit • Excellent collaboration skills within engineering contexts
