Finance Associate Analyst – New Graduate Rotational Program

Job Description

Canadian Tire's FAA New Graduate Rotational Program provides an opportunity to broaden your financial acumen while developing a comprehensive understanding of Canadian Tire. Over two years, new grads complete two 12-month rotations within the diverse finance department.

Rotations Available In: Financial Planning & Analysis

Accounting, Advisory, Reporting & Controls

Treasury

Internal Audit

Experimentation & Decision Support

Financial Policy & External Reporting

What You'll Do: Conduct data analytics to support financial decision-making

Develop and maintain performance reporting tools and dashboards

Support financial planning, forecasting, and analysis activities

Perform cost-benefit analyses to inform strategic and operational decisions

Assist with risk assessment activities across various finance functions

Extract and manipulate large data sets from relational databases

Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders across the business

Explore and apply AI tools and emerging technologies to improve financial workflows

Requirements: Expected graduation of December 2026 or Spring 2027

Undergraduate degree in Business, Commerce, Mathematics, Economics, or Management Analytics

Passion for accounting, financial planning, analysis, and reporting

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Experience extracting and manipulating data from relational databases

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Comfort with ambiguity and change

Collaborative communication skills

Interest in AI and emerging tools

Onsite Requirement: Four days on-site per week, one day from home. Salary range: $53,000 – $88,000 annually (typical hiring range: $53,000 – $70,000).

Undergraduate degree in Business, Commerce, Mathematics, Economics, or Management Analytics; expected graduation December 2026 or Spring 2027; advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with data analytics and relational databases
