Leuschen Transportation is looking for a highly organized and customer-focused Dispatcher to join our team. In this role, you'll be the critical link between our drivers, customers, and operations team, ensuring that routes run smoothly, issues are resolved quickly, and communication flows efficiently.
We transport community members with various accessibility needs throughout the city 365 days a year. This is a full-time position working day shift, Monday through Friday.

Who You Are
You don't get flustered when the phone rings, a driver needs assistance, and a schedule changes all at the same time. You're a natural communicator, a problem solver, and someone who takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly.
What You'll Do
Monitor daily service delivery using RideCo and associated operational systems
Coordinate trip assignments and support operators throughout service hours
Support operational efficiency through proactive problem-solving
Assist customers with trip bookings, cancellations, modifications, and service inquiries
Monitor schedules and identify system issues impacting service delivery
Provide information regarding service availability, eligibility requirements, trip status, and operating procedures
Deliver professional, courteous, and customer-focused service
Receive, document, and gather information regarding customer complaints, compliments, and service concerns
Complete dispatch logs and operational records accurately and completely
Maintain records related to customer requests, incidents, service disruptions, and operational issues
What We're Looking For
Secondary school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum one year of experience in dispatching, customer service, transportation, logistics, call centre operations, or a related field
Experience with computerized scheduling or dispatch systems is considered an asset
Experience using RideCo or similar transportation software is considered an asset
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure
Professional and effective communication in both English and French
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Possess good geographic knowledge of Greater Sudbury
A positive attitude, attention to detail, and strong work ethic
Criminal record check/vulnerable sector screening required
