Huawei Canada is searching for an Intern Engineer to join their innovative Software-Hardware System Optimization Lab. You will design, integrate, and optimize plugins for Unreal Engine while ensuring robust gameplay and character animations. Your role will also involve maintaining third-party SDKs and contributing to core system enhancements, requiring deep knowledge of Unreal's architecture and C++ programming.

Key Responsibilities: • Create high-quality plugins for enhancing Unreal Engine • Integrate AI and ML libraries to streamline workflows • Maintain and optimize third-party SDKs for performance • Extend core Unreal Engine systems for project needs • Diagnose system-level bugs and performance issues

Requirements: • BSc or MSc in Computer Science or related field • In-depth knowledge of C++ and Unreal Engine • Experience integrating C/C++ libraries into large codebases • Proficiency in debugging and profiling using industry tools • Familiarity with Python for automation supports is a plus
