Role Description Product Engineering (Integration Java Developer) – senior member of the new Integrations Team, collaborating across Canada, Northern Ireland, and India.

Accountabilities Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain organizational APIs and Microservices using REST

Develop and deploy middleware solutions (e.g., integration tools, jar containers)

Translate technical non‑functional requirements into API designs and documentation using ACG tools

Apply secure API standards and support dev, testing, and production environments

Mentor less experienced team members and lead design/code reviews

Build performance dashboards, monitor key metrics, and report results

Communicate effectively with teammates, stakeholders, and other technology teams within agile frameworks

Qualifications 6‑8 years of experience with Java/Spring APIs – design, implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance

Solid knowledge of integration design patterns and documentation

Experience in Windows or Linux environments

Proficient with development tools (IntelliJ, GitHub, Jenkins, JUnit)

Message transformation (XML to REST JSON) and high‑performance API design

RESTful API design and architecture

Experience with orchestration, batch processing, and message transformation

Agile (Scrum, Kanban, XP) experience

Basic SQL database development and queries

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools, including logging and monitoring (e.g., Splunk, DataDog)

Knowledge of secure coding, TDD, and good communication skills

Bonus Qualifications API Gateway experience (Datapower)

API transformation/orchestration tools (Talend, Kafka, Tibco)

Microservices architecture expertise

JavaScript or Python programming

Relational/NoSQL database experience (Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB)

In‑memory caching (Redis, Pivotal Cloud Cache)

Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Docker, and container migration experience

Experience in modernization projects

Compensation R$ 80,900.00 – 110,000.00 annually (based on skills and experience).
