Job Description

Drive the future of urban mobility as a Field-Based Technician with Shift Transit in Toronto. This role centers on maintaining and troubleshooting bike share stations to provide seamless service.

Shift Transit is dedicated to managing over 60,000 mobility assets, including bike shares throughout Toronto. As a technician, you will engage directly in addressing hardware issues, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring a safe environment around bike docks. This field role demands collaboration with the senior leadership team and a commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities: • Troubleshoot and repair bike share station connectivity • Maintain organized operations while on site • Document maintenance work accurately using management systems • Clean and inspect bike docking points regularly • Operate a variety of vehicles for service calls

Requirements: • Must be able to lift 50 lbs and handle physical tasks • Experience with bike or vehicle maintenance is preferred • Strong teamwork and communication skills required • Willingness to work in diverse weather conditions • Must complete all required training upon hiring
