Program Manager for Enterprise Transformations

Job Description

Shape the future of Canada’s innovation as a Program Manager at Mitacs. This hands-on role requires leadership in managing enterprise transformations and strategic initiatives.

We are seeking a highly experienced Program Manager to drive essential programs under the Transformation Management Office (TMO) Portfolio. Reporting to the Director, you will ensure alignment and delivery across multiple corporate initiatives while fostering a collaborative environment. This role demands strong judgment and the ability to navigate complex, multi-stream projects, ensuring impactful outcomes for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead governance across the TMO for transformative initiatives

• Oversee delivery of Enterprise Transformation programs

• Manage stakeholder engagement and vendor coordination

• Ensure risks and issues are identified and mitigated

• Prepare executive materials for steering committee updates

Requirements:

• 8+ years in program management within complex environments

• 5+ years managing similar roles or Project Managers

• PgM or PMP certification required

• Active user of project management tools like MS Planner

• Proven experience managing budgets over $10M
