Job Description

Join Community Living British Columbia as a Contracting and Procurement Expert, where your skills in strategic procurement are needed. This auxiliary position is hybrid, emphasizing compliance and operational excellence.

In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing procurement processes that adhere to legal and policy frameworks. Key responsibilities include managing procurement cycles and providing insights on contract governance, all while collaborating with finance leaders and managers to drive strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all procurements comply with applicable law

• Develop and maintain critical procurement documentation

• Recommend improvements for accountability practices

• Monitor procurement procedures and effectiveness

• Communicate issues requiring action to management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field

• At least four years of related work experience

• Jurisprudence education preferred

• Excellent communication and judgement skills

• Strong organizational and motivating skills
