Job Description

Shape the future of vehicle dynamics at General Motors as a Senior Software Engineer. This hybrid role focuses on creating advanced simulation models for vehicle components and systems.

At General Motors, you have the opportunity to work both remotely and onsite. In this role, you'll utilize your expertise in vehicle modeling and software engineering to collaborate on innovative projects targeting vehicle performance and safety. With at least three years of relevant experience, you’ll be responsible for developing simulation architectures and conducting rigorous validation studies, ensuring GM stays at the forefront of automotive technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement simulation components for vehicle systems

• Create scalable architectures for multiple vehicle models

• Collaborate with engineers on validation studies

• Refactor and optimize code for efficiency

• Produce design documentation and release notes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

• At least 3 years of experience in vehicle dynamics

• Proficient in Python and C/C++

• Experience with Matlab/Simulink for simulations

• Strong analytical and coding skills
