North Vancouver Backend Developer Role

Job Description

Be part of Chartwell’s GIS Web Applications team as a Backend Developer in North Vancouver, BC. Develop, maintain, and enhance Django applications for diverse utility clients while collaborating closely with your peers.

This role calls for a dedicated developer with at least three years of relevant experience, focusing on PostgreSQL databases and clean code practices. You'll benefit from robust mentorship, flexible working conditions, and a workplace that prioritizes safety and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop applications using a PostgreSQL database

• Write clean and maintainable Python code supported by testing

• Create and refine APIs and server-side services with Django

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent

• 3+ years of Django backend development experience
