Electrical Project Engineer

Our client is seeking a dedicated Electrical Project Engineer to manage and execute electrical projects from initiation to completion in Kimberley . This role demands strong organizational skills, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate effectively with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, contributing to infrastructure development in the Northern Cape . The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and possesses a solid understanding of electrical systems and project management methodologies. Key Responsibilities

Manage all phases of electrical projects, including planning, design, procurement, installation, and commissioning. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress closely. Coordinate with design teams to ensure that electrical designs meet project requirements and specifications. Oversee the selection and procurement of electrical equipment and materials. Ensure compliance with all relevant South African building codes , electrical standards, and safety regulations. Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors, providing regular project updates and resolving issues promptly. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management or project engineering, preferably in the electrical field. Proven track record of successfully delivering electrical projects on schedule and within budget. Familiarity with project management software (e.g., "MS Project"). Strong understanding of electrical systems, installation practices, and quality control. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Benefits
