Job Description

At EdgeTunePower, the Protection & Control Engineer will play a critical role in the design and validation of protection systems for various power environments. You will apply your expertise in conventional generation, energy storage, and inverter-based resources while ensuring grid compliance. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to innovating reliable power solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement protection system designs

• Conduct relay settings and protection coordination studies

• Protect data centers, backup generation, and distribution

• Manage grounding and fault protection systems

• Assess arc-flash, short-circuit, and equipment duties

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical or Power Systems Engineering

• Minimum 7 years experience in protection engineering

• Proficient with protection principles and applicable standards

• Familiarity with SEL protection platforms

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
