Mid Level Mechanical Field Coordinator

Job Description

Join Kiewit Energy as a Mechanical Field Coordinator, focusing on site leadership and safety in Edmonton or Calgary. This full-time role is crucial in ensuring project success through effective coordination and oversight.

At Kiewit Energy Canada, you’ll guide subcontractors while managing project schedules and quality control. Your responsibilities include contract oversight, audit reporting, and interpreting engineering specifications. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in project planning and scheduling tasks

• Supervise subcontractor activities and work quality

• Perform material takeoffs and calculations

• Conduct site surveys and work layout support

• Facilitate communication in jobsite safety trainings

Requirements:

• 3-5+ years of construction experience in mechanical works

• Bachelor's in mechanical engineering or similar discipline

• Proficient in reading engineering documents

• Availability to travel and adjust to diverse work conditions

• Strong organizational and leadership skills
