Kickstart your career with Intuit as an entry-level Software Developer 1 focused on Canada’s tax products. You'll gain hands-on experience in software development using C#/C++/Java and AI tools.

This role on the Canada Tax Content team is designed for recent graduates or those with minimal experience. You'll tackle well-defined tasks under mentorship, developing proficiency in the software development lifecycle. With opportunities to engage in coding, debugging, and Agile ceremonies, this position builds a strong foundation in tax software development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research lower-complexity tax issues and escalate complex ones

• Translate small tasks into functional tax logic using C#/C++/Java

• Participate in compliance discussions to understand technical tasks

• Write reusable code and validate functionality through testing

• Use AI tools for code generation and debugging assistance

Requirements:

• BS/MS in Computer Science or Tax/Equivalent experience

• 1-2 years in software development with C#/C++ or Java

• Exposure to tax research or analysis preferred

• Willingness to learn and apply unit testing practices

• Strong communication skills and Agile experience is a plus
