Mechanical Engineering Lead in Vancouver

Job Description

Elevate your career as a Lead Mechanical Engineer with a major resource development organization in Vancouver. Provide technical leadership for a significant mining and mineral processing project while managing multidisciplinary teams.

This contract role is crucial in developing engineering work packages, procurement, and project execution. Key Responsibilities: • Lead mechanical engineering delivery from conceptual design to execution • Manage and mentor engineering consultants and internal teams • Review and approve all design specifications and documentation • Support the procurement process for mechanical equipment • Coordinate interfaces among various engineering disciplines

Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering • P.Eng. registration with EGBC or eligibility • 12-15 years in mining and mineral processing • Strong procurement and equipment delivery experience • Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
