DSP Engineer (Markham)

Department: R&D | Location: Markham, ON, Canada

We are looking for DSP engineers responsible for working on DSP algorithm design and implementation on heterogeneous platforms, including CPU, GPU, and FPGA.

Responsibilities

Architect solutions for digital signal processing applications, implementing DSP algorithms, designing and maintaining code running on FPGA and other heterogeneous platforms, testing, debugging, and refining solutions

Requirements

Background in digital signal processing (DSP)

Experience with real-time systems design on FPGA, CPU, and GPU-based platforms

Working experience related to DSP applications such as video and audio processing, modem design, and software-defined radio (SDR)

Work experience related to machine learning (ML) inference model design and implementation

Knowledge of video/audio/RF signal processing and satellite signal communications

Proficiency in programming languages such as VHDL, Python, MATLAB, C, C++, and CUDA

Proficiency in Linux operating system

Qualifications

BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required for this role.

Good communication skills in verbal and written English

Location: Markham, Ontario

Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours.

Vacancy: This is an existing position.

Salary Range: $80,000 CAD - $110,000 CAD, based on experience.
