Job Description

Core Recruitment Inc is seeking a Class 4th Power Engineer in Abbotsford, BC. This pivotal role supports a leading food company through effective mechanical system maintenance and boiler management.

As a Maintenance Power Engineer, you will report directly to the Maintenance Manager and be tasked with maintaining mechanical equipment, managing high-pressure boilers, and executing pre-operational inspections every day. Your expertise will ensure that all equipment functions correctly and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure preventative maintenance on production machinery

• Perform daily inspections of mechanical systems

• Monitor operations of high-pressure boilers

• Uphold safety standards within the workplace

• Assist during equipment breakdowns

Requirements:

• 4th Class Power Engineering certification with 1 year experience

• 2-3 years of maintenance experience required

• Knowledge of various mechanical and electrical systems

• Ability to communicate in English effectively

• Experience as a millwright is a plus
