Job Description

We are looking for an Intermediate Structural Engineer with a solid understanding of structural design and a passion for project management. In this Vancouver-based role, you will support diverse team efforts on hydroelectric projects, ensuring high-quality outputs and mentorship for junior team members. Travel is part of the role, allowing for extensive project involvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design activities for hydropower and dam projects

• Manage project delivery with focus on deadlines and budgets

• Mentor junior engineering staff within project teams

• Write and review key engineering reports for clients

• Visit sites to gather information supporting engineering tasks

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering required

• 4-6 years of relevant experience required

• Eligible for P. Eng designation within 12 months

• Familiarity with engineering software like MIDAS and LS-DYNA

• Ability to travel as projects demand
