Job Description

Join Tigera as a Senior Security Engineer focused on cloud security and vulnerability management in a hybrid work environment from Vancouver. This role combines technical expertise with a commitment to security empowerment.

As a Senior Security Engineer at Tigera, you'll own the security landscape of our Calico products. This position involves conducting threat models, driving security projects, and enhancing our incident response capabilities. A strong emphasis will be placed on creating secure coding practices through collaboration with engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead vulnerability management across Tigera's product suite

• Conduct security design reviews and threat modeling sessions

• Ensure code security through comprehensive reviews and analysis

• Develop security tools and collaborate on proof-of-concept projects

• Support and respond to security incidents within the team

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of security engineering experience

• Proven skills in managing vulnerabilities and CVEs

• Experience in threat modeling throughout the software lifecycle

• Conduct security assessments using industry-standard tools

• Familiarity with programming languages like Python or Go
