Shipper/Receiver
to join our Production Facility in Calgary AB.

Our
Shipper/Receivers
have a starting wage range of $20-$25 per hour based on experience and an assessment during the interview stage. Increases are then reviewed throughout employment.

Essential Functions
Receive purchased products and verify against purchase order requirements.
Receive customer‑supplied products and verify against customer requirements.
Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other lifting equipment, directly and through delegation.
Generate packing slips, calculate weights, determine dimensions.
Ensure shipments are packaged according to customer requirements.
Identify incoming material with work order number and customer name as applicable.
Organize and direct movement of traffic and materials in the yard.
Maintain cleanliness in the yard.
Communicate with office and shop staff via radio.
Work in accordance with the quality management system.
Complete all applicable quality records.
Work in accordance with documented procedures and complete all applicable records.
Qualifications
Superior organization skills to keep stock locations organized.
Excellent communication skills.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Team player attitude and willingness to support the team and department when needed.
High school education or GED equivalent.
Computer skills an asset.
Forklift certification an asset.
Overhead crane experience.
Knowledgeable of shop procedures.
Minimum 3‑month experience in material handling.
Knowledge of quality management system: purchasing, receiving, shipping, inspection and testing, traceability, nonconformances, corrective and preventive action, document control, record control, purchasing.
