Join Pragmatike as a Full-Stack Engineer, specializing in backend technologies from anywhere in Canada. Bring your expertise in Python and Node.js to deliver robust data-intensive platforms.

This role focuses on backend systems, with approximately 70% of your time dedicated to back-end tasks such as API development and data flow management. You'll work closely with product and engineering teams, converting requirements into scalable solutions and participating in technical architecture discussions. Your experience in Python, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB will be essential to succeed in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain backend services using Python and Node.js

• Own APIs and business logic backed by PostgreSQL and MongoDB

• Contribute to frontend features to enhance full product delivery

• Develop web scraping and data ingestion pipelines where appropriate

• Collaborate with teams to improve system performance and reliability

Requirements:

• 4+ years in Full-Stack or Backend Engineering

• Strong backend experience with Python and/or Node.js

• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and MongoDB

• Comfortable contributing to frontend tasks

• Eligible to work in Canada
