Senior API Developer for Cloud Migration

Job Description

Drive innovation as a Senior API Developer in Toronto, ON, focusing on cloud migration strategies. This hybrid role emphasizes expertise in REST APIs and microservices for application modernization.

As a key contributor, you'll lead the analysis and migration of Azure and PCF applications to Atlas. Your responsibilities will include refactoring backend services and UI components while ensuring optimal scalability and performance throughout the process. Collaboration with Solution Architects and DevOps will be crucial for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead migration efforts of applications to Atlas

• Refactor backend services for cloud-native performance

• Partner with architects and DevOps on migration strategies

• Maintain and update CI/CD pipelines efficiently

• Ensure compliance and logging requirements are met

Requirements:

• 5-6 years of experience with RESTful APIs and microservices

• Proficient in GCP/Atlas and familiar with Azure/PCF

• Strong performance optimization and debugging skills
