About the role

Transam Carriers runs 120+ trucks out of Concord, Ontario — cross-border LTL and truckload, our own customs desk and cross-dock. Today, each dispatch desk plans its own trucks. It works, desk by desk. What it cannot do is see the whole fleet at once — so a truck emptying in Chicago and a load needing cover out of the Midwest can sit on two different screens and never meet. This is a new role, created to fix exactly that. What you would own

One plan for the whole fleet: where every truck is, when it frees up, and what it does next Matching capacity across desks instead of within them — the moves that no single desk can see Reducing empty miles and deadhead between regions, and being able to prove it Pre-planning the next move before a truck delivers, rather than after Flagging where we are short of capacity and where we are long, early enough for sales to act on it What we are looking for

You have planned or dispatched for a fleet and can think in terms of the truck's whole week, not the next load You can hold a plan in your head across regions and still change it when the day does You are numbers-driven — empty miles, revenue per truck per day, utilisation are the language of this job Cross-border experience is a strong advantage: border timing changes what is possible You can work with dispatchers rather than over them.
