Piping Engineering Co-op Position in Calgary

Job Description

Canadian Natural offers a 12-month Co-op position for Piping Engineering Students in Calgary, Alberta. Experience diverse assignments in a collaborative environment focused on engineering excellence.

As a Co-op student, you'll be involved in critical piping engineering tasks, supporting design analysis and compliance within various projects. This is an excellent opportunity for Mechanical Engineering students to apply theoretical knowledge while gaining on-site and technical experience, essential for future career developments in the field.

Key Responsibilities: • Support piping stress and flexibility analysis with CAESAR II • Assist in developing engineering packages and documentation • Participate in constructability reviews and design assessments • Help resolve technical issues during project execution • Engage in field inspections and leak investigations

Requirements: • Enrolled in a 2nd or 3rd year Mechanical Engineering program • Genuine interest in piping systems and stress analysis • Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills • Previous internships or relevant field experience preferred • Valid Class 5 Alberta driver’s license required
