Elevate enterprise data capabilities as the Data Platform Engineering Lead in Toronto, Ontario. This pivotal role focuses on designing and building a Databricks-based technology reference platform.

Reporting to the Head of Technology Data Management, the Data Platform Engineering Manager will oversee the onboarding, integration, transformation, and delivery of data from various technology systems. You will establish scalable patterns, integration frameworks, and operational controls to ensure high-quality data and analytics accessibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement the Databricks-based data platform

• Lead onboarding of technology systems into the platform

• Develop data pipelines for standardization and transformation

• Establish monitoring for platform health and reliability

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integrated solutions

Requirements:

• 8-12+ years in data engineering or data platform delivery

• Strong experience in building APIs and data architectures

• Proven leadership skills in large enterprise environments

• Databricks or cloud technology certifications preferred

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
