About The Role Our Vancouver Team is currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Designer/E.I.T. that will develop a diverse portfolio of mechanical engineering projects with a focus on the design, construction, and maintenance of complex mechanical systems. The successful candidate will utilize their experience and expertise in the field of mechanical engineering to provide solutions to a diverse clientele that includes multinational industry leaders. Your day to day will include:

Participate in preparing drawing packages including 3D modeling, detailed plans, and specifications related to a wide variety of engineering projects

Analyze data and assist in developing engineering calculations for mechanical applications

Participate in preparing proposals, specifications, cost estimates, and contract documents for mechanical and multidiscipline engineering projects

Participate in preparing detailed engineering reports and provide written and oral updates regarding the progress and completion of engineering projects

Participate in the performance QA/QC reviews throughout the design development process for assigned projects as well as projects under development by others

Assist in field surveys as required throughout the project life cycle

About You BS in Mechanical Engineering

2+ years of experience in Mechanical and/or Industrial engineering design

Registered with EGBC or eligible for Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) registration

Experience or familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) software

Ability to collaborate with team members and clients in a multi-disciplined environment

Ability to travel to the US

Excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail

What We Offer Annual base salary in the range of $70,000 – $80,000 CAD per year depending on experience and qualifications
