We are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive softwareDeveloper to design, develop, and maintain robust data integration and transformation processes that support our applications and business initiatives. This role involves close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient data solutions.
Is this role right for you? In this role you will:
Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to support data integration and transformation for existing applications and new projects.
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
Develop automation scripts and implement scheduling solutions to streamline data workflows.
Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all developed solutions and processes.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering, or related field or relevant experience.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development or data integration development.
Solid understanding of the SDLC and software development best practices.
Proficiency in shell scripting and working knowledge of
Java
(basic to intermediate level).
Strong experience with
SQL
and relational databases.
Familiarity with ETL tools; experience with
Talend
is highly preferred.
Expertise in
Java
programming and hands‑on experience with
Spring Boot .
Proven experience in
REST API
design and development, familiarity with SOAP web services is preferred.
Proficiency in
shell scripting
and working with
relational databases
(e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle).
Experience handling
large data volumes
and optimizing data processing workflows.
Strong analytical and
troubleshooting skills , with a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
Strong understanding of infrastructure, network fundamentals, and system architecture.
Experience with
cloud platforms
such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) and CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred Attributes:
Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Experience working in Agile or iterative development environments is a plus.
