Lead Engineer for Irrigation Projects

Job Description

Lead engineering efforts for Stantec's Westside Irrigation Rehabilitation Project in Saskatchewan as the Western Canada Irrigation Lead. Apply your irrigation planning expertise to enhance community water resources.

In this key role, you will oversee engineering studies and design efforts while collaborating with a diverse project team. You'll take charge of field investigations and client engagements, ensuring project success and stakeholder satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise engineering report and drawing preparation

• Collaborate with various project teams and clients

• Coordinate essential field investigations

• Manage client relations and proposal preparations

• Mentor intermediate and junior engineers effectively

Requirements:

• 8+ years in water conveyance experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Agricultural Engineering

• P.Eng registration in Alberta or Saskatchewan

• Strong knowledge of irrigation systems

• Experience with design software such as AutoCAD
