Project Coordinator for Electrical Projects

Job Description

Join Bird as an Electrical Project Coordinator in Kipling, Ontario. Drive the planning and execution of hydroelectric unit overhaul projects with strong organizational skills.

This role is integral to the successful delivery of electrical scopes. You'll assist in procurement, documentation, and coordinate effectively with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors. Your attention to detail will help maintain accurate project files and schedules, facilitating smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and execute project schedules and work plans

• Maintain accurate project documentation and databases

• Review and liaise on subcontractor progress and payments

• Lead meetings with project teams and document outcomes

• Ensure all stakeholders are informed of project statuses

Requirements:

• Completed post-secondary in a construction discipline

• At least 3 years of relevant project support experience

• Ability to interpret construction documents and specifications

• Strong proficiency with MS Office, especially MS Project

• Excellent time management and client relationship skills
