Propak Systems Process Engineer Intern

Job Description

Kickstart your career with Propak Systems as a Process Engineer in Training, based in Airdrie, Alberta. This full-time role focuses on developing engineering skills in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

You will closely collaborate with senior engineers on process design and equipment selection. Key tasks include using process engineering software, developing flowsheets, and evaluating equipment specifications. This position offers a pathway to deepen your technical knowledge and skills while contributing to critical projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with engineering disciplines for proposals

• Perform process simulations using relevant software

• Assist in the development of P&ID and equipment requirements

• Engage in project tendering and control system design

• Participate in model reviews and HAZOP sessions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering

• Eligible for APEGA registration

• Experience with ProMax and simulation tools

• Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly

• Strong organizational and analytical abilities
