Analytical Chemist II - Method Validation

Job Description

Join Element Toronto as an Analytical Chemist II focused on E&L and Pharma Chemistry. In this role, you'll perform analytical testing and method validation in Mississauga’s laboratory.

As a Chemist II at Element, you will analyze chemical properties of various substances using established methods. Collaborate with your manager and team, and contribute to failure investigations and client report generation. Your experience will support method development and validation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze chemical properties of organic/inorganic substances

• Conduct analytical testing via established protocols

• Develop and validate analytical methods effectively

• Document findings and draft client reports

• Train junior chemists on lab procedures

Requirements:

• Degree in analytical chemistry or related field

• 2-5 years of industry experience required

• Strong math and critical thinking abilities

• Ability to follow and give detailed instructions

• Knowledge of cost control measures in the lab
