As an Engineer II in the Electrical Characterization team, you’ll validate SERDES designs running up to 32Gbps NRZ. Collaborate with mixed-signal designers to analyze advanced analog circuits while driving R&D efforts on new mixed-signal designs. This role emphasizes hands-on work with automated testing and requires strong problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive R&D on high-performance SERDES designs

• Develop automated test scripts and custom firmware

• Design high-performance PCBs for compliance testing

• Investigate complex circuit failures and provide insights

• Author detailed characterization plans and reports

Requirements:

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Physics

• 1-2 years relevant experience in SERDES

• Proficient with lab tools like oscilloscopes and BERTS

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Familiar with Python for test automation
