Tier 2 Cybersecurity Analyst Role

Elevate your cybersecurity career as a Tier 2 Analyst in the Security Operations Center. Lead investigations, shape incident responses, and enhance threat detection in a full-time, exempt role.

In this critical position, you'll utilize over 5 years of cybersecurity expertise to support incident detection and response efforts. With advanced skills in SIEM and EDR tools, you will mentor Tier 1 analysts and drive continuous improvements in SOC capabilities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead complex investigations to protect customer environments.

Key Responsibilities: • Analyze escalated incidents and drive investigations • Mentor Tier 1 analysts, guiding incident response • Develop detection rules in SIEM and related tools • Conduct threat hunting based on intelligence • Collaborate with teams to enrich investigations

Requirements: • 5+ years in cybersecurity, 2 years in SOC/IR • Expertise in SIEM, EDR, and forensic tools • Strong knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework • Experience with scripting (Python, PowerShell) • Relevant security certifications from ISC2 or ISACA
