Manufacturing Technologist

Hydron is the clean fuel company unlocking “net-zero” energy in the Renewable Natural Gas and Blue Hydrogen markets.

We are looking for a Manufacturing Technologist to assist with the assembly, testing, and continuous improvement of Hydron’s manufacturing processes and equipment. This is a hands‑on, on‑site role that works closely with engineering and operations to support production activities and scale‑up efforts.

Responsibilities Include Assisting with manufacturing and assembly of equipment and subsystems

Supporting development and improvement of manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and SOPs

Troubleshooting manufacturing and assembly issues and implementing corrective actions

Supporting quality control activities, inspections, and documentation

Assisting with production planning, tooling selection, and workflow optimization

Coordinating with suppliers and contractors for fabricated components and assemblies

Maintaining accurate production, quality, and traceability records

Skills & Experience Diploma or degree in Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Chemical Engineering Technology, or a related field

3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment

Ability to read and work with engineering drawings and BOMs

Strong hands‑on mechanical and technical skills

Comfortable working in a shop‑floor environment

Ability to safely lift and handle items weighing up to 20 lbs

Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Certification as a technologist/technician (e.g., through ASTTBC) is preferred.

Experience with process and manufacturing equipment, supporting scale‑up and large‑scale manufacturing

Background in cleantech, energy, or industrial gas systems would be an asset.

Salary CAD $50,000 - $60,000 commensurate with experience and qualifications
