Job Description

Shape the future of security at Vanta as a Senior Software Engineer in our Product Platform team. This remote position allows you to create scalable, impactful systems relied upon by engineering teams.

You'll join Vanta to design shared libraries and customer-facing components, reporting directly to our Product Platform organization. Candidates must have a minimum of five years of backend or fullstack software engineering experience. Your work will not only support multiple teams but will also drive improvements in the overall product architecture and developer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement shared system components

• Collaborate with teams to define API specifications

• Influence architectural decisions with a developer mindset

• Uphold standards of quality, performance, and security

• Document systems and libraries to enable usage and contribution

Requirements:

• 5+ years in backend or fullstack software engineering

• Proven experience in building shared APIs and platform components

• Familiarity with distributed systems and event-driven designs

• Excellent cross-functional communication abilities

• History of shipping maintainable, high-quality code
