Senior Snowflake Data Engineer Role

Job Description

Join Propel as a Senior Data Engineer specializing in Snowflake to transform our financial data landscape. Develop and maintain innovative data solutions that empower our Finance team.

In this key position reporting to the Director of Data Platform, you'll focus on crafting secure data models while leveraging your SQL expertise. Your role will involve close collaboration with various teams to address data issues and implement best practices, especially in finance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create scalable Snowflake databases and schemas

• Develop Snowflake SQL and troubleshoot stored procedures

• Build and manage efficient ELT pipelines

• Optimize data workloads for performance and cost

• Implement robust security and governance controls

Requirements:

• 8+ years of SQL database experience

• 3+ years in production workloads on Snowflake

• Deep understanding of Snowflake architecture

• Proficient in data modeling for analytics

• Experienced in GitHub collaborative practices
