Job Description

Become a vital part of Trellis as a Part Time Program Facilitator, crafting engaging youth group activities focusing on growth and emotional learning. This role empowers youth to overcome challenges and build a supportive community.

As a Program Facilitator, you will be instrumental in providing after-school support and planning activities that foster emotional resilience, community ties, and self-sufficiency. This position requires collaboration with families and youth, and an emphasis on creating a safe and inclusive atmosphere tailored to their developmental needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate trauma-informed group programming for youth

• Create a safe, supportive space for youth development

• Liaise with families and community supports

• Track and report program participation and outcomes

• Promote youth programming through various channels

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant field

• 2-5 years of experience working with youth

• Strong organization and communication skills

• Flexibility to work evenings or weekends

• Current First Aid and background checks
