Job Description

NETES is seeking dedicated Instructors for its Bachelor of Education program in Winnipeg, aimed at empowering Indigenous adult learners. Engage students with culturally relevant content and inclusive teaching practices in a community-focused environment.

This opportunity at NETES is in collaboration with University College of the North, targeting the successful delivery of Indigenous-focused curricula. Instructors will play a vital role in shaping accessible educational pathways and supporting Indigenous representation in education. You'll facilitate learning that honors cultures, promotes understanding, and builds community connections.

Key Responsibilities: • Deliver culturally respectful, engaging instruction aligned with curriculum • Develop lesson plans and assess student learning • Provide timely academic guidance and support • Encourage collaboration with educational partners • Create an inclusive environment that respects diverse perspectives

Requirements: • Master’s degree in education or related relevant field • 5+ years of teaching experience in Indigenous communities • Manitoba Teaching Certificate or similar credentials • Clear Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Registry Check • Valid Class 5 Driver’s license for travel
