Elevate security protocols as a Hybrid Software Engineer with Lyft, focusing on Identity management. Work alongside product and data teams to refine verification experiences for users.

In this pivotal role within the Identity & Integrity organization, you will leverage over three years of engineering expertise to enhance Lyft’s login systems. Your contributions will drive improvements in multi-factor authentication and user account security while combating potential fraud. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop efficient coding practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create robust multi-factor authentication solutions

• Streamline verification methods including email and SMS

• Protect user accounts from fraud and abuse

• Optimize identity-related core services

• Advocate best coding practices in team discussions

Requirements:

• 3+ years in software engineering roles

• Proficient in coding with Python, GO, or Java

• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS

• Demonstrated mentoring abilities
