Machine Control Systems Technician

Job Description

Join Brandt as an Electronic Field Technician in Calgary, focusing on machine control systems. Your expertise will ensure installations, repairs, and testing are performed safely and efficiently.

In this role, you will carry out diagnostics on electronic and mechanical components of heavy equipment. You will be engaging directly with customers while documenting your work comprehensively. This technician role includes travel and may involve both fieldwork and workshop assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test and repair various electronic devices and components

• Complete and manage work orders effectively

• Write detailed reports on technician activities

• Provide customer phone support as needed

• Train and guide less experienced team members

Requirements:

• 2+ years of relevant experience in electronics

• Completed college or trade program in electronics

• Strong attention to detail and proactive learning

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Effective communication skills with customers
