Norcada is hiring an Electronics Development Engineer in Edmonton to lead in product design and development. Your skills in PCB assembly and embedded systems will drive advancements in environmental and quantum technologies.

This full-time and permanent role includes responsibilities within the Embedded Systems Team, ensuring smooth product lifecycle management. Candidates must have a recognized engineering degree and at least three years of relevant experience in electronics development, including design and firmware. Your analytical skills will be vital in solving complex challenges.

Key Responsibilities: • Design and develop innovative electronic systems and software • Execute project plans while ensuring stakeholder alignment • Validate product specifications and produce reports • Troubleshoot and calibrate newly developed instruments • Ensure cleanliness and organization in workstations

Requirements: • Post-secondary degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in embedded systems • Strong programming skills in LabVIEW, Python, and C/C++ • Knowledge of certification standards like CE and UL • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
