Senior Engineer - Dashboard User Experiences

Job Description

Enhance user experiences with data at Databricks as a Senior Engineer for Dashboard User Experiences. Build high-performance dashboards that simplify data exploration for users.

In this role, you’ll leverage modern frontend technologies to create and optimize dashboard experiences. Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, product managers, and engineers to shape impactful user-facing features. Your influence will direct how users interact with complex datasets, ensuring an intuitive, responsive, and engaging platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design user-friendly interfaces for dashboard authoring

• Collaborate with teams to translate data concepts into visuals

• Drive frontend performance and accessibility enhancements

• Take ownership of dashboard workflows and architectures

• Define critical APIs and data models with developers

Requirements:

• Over 5 years of engineering experience in frontend and backend

• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React

• Strong grasp of UX design and accessibility principles

• Experience with data visualization and analytics tools

• Cloud technology experience like AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus
