Job Description

Advance your career with Tundra Oil & Gas as a Data Developer based in Calgary or Winnipeg. You will be integral in constructing data pipelines and supporting business data needs.

As a Data Developer, your role focuses on designing and maintaining scalable data systems utilizing Databricks. You will work with a variety of databases and ensure the integrity and performance of the data solutions deployed across the organization. Collaborate closely with the Data Architect to execute architectural visions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engineer data pipelines and systems using Databricks

• Apply software engineering best practices in your implementations

• Work with external vendors for data integration

• Maintain data validation and monitoring practices

• Automate data processes using Terraform and CI/CD tools

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field related

• 3-5+ years of experience in data platform development

• Strong skills in Python, SQL, and data processing

• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS

• Solid understanding of Git workflows and CI/CD
