Job Description

Overview Join to apply for the Carpenter role at StructureCraft

Opportunity We are currently hiring Carpenters to join our team at our shop in Abbotsford. The ideal candidates will have a passion for the craft of carpentry with 5 years’ carpentry experience, preferably with wood processing. This is a full-time position reporting to the Shift Supervisor.

Responsibilities

Reading blueprints/shop drawings

Laying out, building templates, jigs, utilizing hand/shop and air tools

Employing best practice in fabrication

Framing within the prescribed tolerances in both rough/finish carpentry through to coating application

Rigging and loading for site installation

Eye for quality control/assurance and safety from start to finish

Knowledge, Skills, Experience Needed To be successful in this position you will be reliable, self-motivated, disciplined, take ownership for your work and have a good command of the English language.

Required

5 years' carpentry experience preferred

First Aid Level One, Fall Protection and WHMIS Certificates

Some selective project travel may be required

Shifts Day Shift - 6:00am - 4:30pm, Monday to Thursday.

Afternoon Shift - 4:30pm - 3:00am, Monday to Thursday

Pay The Pay Range For This Role Is 21 - 24 CAD per hour (Abbotsford Head Office)
