ML Infrastructure Manager

Overview MLOps Manager role based in Toronto with hybrid working (3 days in office). This position combines technical leadership with people management to guide the technical direction of production services, partner with technology teams across the organization, and recruit, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team.

Responsibilities You will play a dual role as both a technical leader and a people manager. Responsibilities include guiding the technical direction of production services, collaborating with technology teams across the organization, and taking responsibility for recruiting, mentoring, and growing a high-performing engineering team. Working at the intersection of research and engineering, you will help shape and deliver innovative, production-grade solutions while fostering best practices in modern software delivery.

Qualifications Passion for and extensive experience in MLOps: production, deployment, and adoption of ML & AI solutions in lexical models

Extensive experience in lexical models: NLP, LLM, NER, IR, RAG

Experience managing teams of ML Engineers & Developers

Experience building scalable and robust CI/CD pipelines

Ability to work directly with and manage internal and external stakeholders

Compensation Base pay range: CA$160,000.00/yr - CA$180,000.00/yr

Total compensation: CA$180,000.00 CAD base plus 20% bonus and stock options
